Leeds Bradford Airport in Yorkshire is found centrally between Harrogate, Leeds and Bradford. It is the highest airport in England standing at 208m above sea level. It was first used in 1935 for commercial flights but shut during WWII. It re-opened 1947 and has continued to serve the area un-interrupted.
