The Halifax International Airport (also Halifax Stanfield International Airport) offers a full 24 hour service and is the only Atlantic Canadian airport to offer U.S. pre-clearance, allowing non-stop passengers going to the U.S. to go through necessary Border Protection and Customs before their departure. Over 3.5 million travelers per year take advantage of this very convenient service and the loads of other services offered by the critically acclaimed airport.

The airport is centrally situated on 1 Bell Boulevard, Enfield, Nova Scotia. Ground transportation is readily available such as the railway, shuttle buses, limousines and taxicabs. Cheap car rentals are also available at the Halifax airport. Those who opt for car hire and others who have their own vehicle to drive may take Exit 6 off Highway 102 going to or from the airport.

The airport provides services from about 30 airlines, some of which are Air Canada, American Eagle, Canjet, Condor Airlines, Maritime Air Charter, SkyWest Airlines, Northwest Airlink and Westjet, to name a few.
