Dubrovnik Airport is situated an easy 24kms drive from Croatia’s capital city, Dubrovnik, near to Cavtat and Cilipi. The single-terminal airport deals with over a million passengers a year and is Croatia’s main hub, with direct flights serving the UK and the rest of Europe. Although it is worth noting many of its international flights only operate from April to October.

Dubrovnik Airport’s only terminal, Terminal A, has a large check in area with 17 desks, which can handle its busy summer traffic efficiently. Accessing nearby areas with cheap car hire in Dubrovnik Airport is easy as there is only one main road into the city so visitors can’t get lost.

Banking facilities within the terminal are adequate, there is a bank, a bureau de change and ATMs. The terminal also offers refreshments in its coffee shop and snack bar, which are suitable for snacks or light meals. There is a duty-free and a few small shops including a souvenir shop and a newsagent. The airport also has a beautiful garden which has won a tourism award.

There are currently no business facilities within Dubrovnik Airport, although there are VIP and Business lounges and disabled passengers are advised disabled facilities are minimal too. There are half a dozen providers of car hire in Dubrovnik Airport so visitors can get to the city easily.

There is an information desk available in the terminal from where passengers can get information and organise onward travel or car rental. On return to Dubrovnik Airport there is ample short and long term parking available.
