Bulawayo is one of the largest cities in the country of Zimbabwe. It is situated in Matabeleland but is treated as a separate province. Serving the city is Bulawayo Airport. The airport is officially known as Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport.

There are 2 commercial airlines serving in the airport, Air Zimbabwe and South African Airways. A few motor companies also offer car rental in Bulawayo Airport to travellers as a means of ground transportation. Both local and international companies offer good quality car rentals.

Some of the attractions situated in the city include the National Gallery of Bulawayo and the Natural History Museum. There is also the Nesbitt Castle, the National University of Science and technology, the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair grounds, and the Khami Ruins. Travellers can easily reach these locations with a hire car.

Group travellers can save up on money with rental cars as motor companies offer large vehicles that can accommodate them all. Instead of riding the bus or having to split into different cabs, only 1 vehicle is required and needs to be paid for during the trip.

Attractions situated outside the city are most natural sites. A car hire in Bulawayo Airport can also be used to visit these locations. Some of these are the Matobo National Park, the lake Cunningham Recreational Park, the Tshabalala National Park, Lake Mutirikwi, and the Mutirikwi National Park.
