The tiny Beziers Airport serves the Languedoc region of France, particularly the Cap d’Agde area which is a very popular Mediterranean beach destination and a short 14kms drive by car hire in Beziers Airport. At the present time the airport only offers flights between London Luton Airport and Bristol Airport using the low-cost carrier Ryanair.

The small airport still sees 300,000 passengers a year passing through it on their way to the delights of the surrounding countryside, beaches and wine region. Beziers Airport also lies a short drive by cheap car hire in Beziers Airport from the Haut Languedoc Natural Regional Park which is a glorious area to explore.

The airport consists of one basic terminal with few facilities. There are no shops or business conveniences so visitors should come prepared. There is however a café and bar which provides visitors with refreshments and has a good range of food and beverages. The bar also sells a few books and newspapers as there is no newsagent. Passengers must pay for parking at the airport but there is ample space available.

Situated about 12kms outside Beziers city itself there is a shuttle service to get tourists into town and also to nearby destinations of Vias and Cap d’Agne. As Beziers is the Languedoc wine making capital it makes a good place for wine-lovers to visit too and they can enjoy the scenery or wine-tasting at one of its renowned vineyards.

The information desk in the terminal building can provide visitors with more information and help them organise travel, hotels or budget car rental.
